The TRX iron was created for the player who is looking for game improvement technology without sacrificing shot making capability. The TRX is equipped with much of the same technology that make GigaGolf game improvement irons easy and fun to play, but we built these game improvement features around a traditional design that allows the ball to be "worked" or "shaped" by players of all skill levels. The cavity is designed to achieve a significant perimeter weighting and the MOI is surprisingly high. So the irons are forgiving and long.

I really wanted to leave a review because I'm honestly amazed at how incredible these irons are. I got an entire set (irons, wedges, a hybrid, and 5 wood) from Giga, and they've completely changed my game. I went from hitting around 100 to hitting in the 80s. I had a beginner's box set before, so I can't compare these to name-brands, but I don't think I have to. Getting custom fit clubs for this price is mind-blowing. I'm so thankful that this place exists and that I found it. I highly recommend to anyone on the fence. Their customer service is awesome, and they have a 30-day return policy in case you don't like them. These ions have amazing forgiveness, but I've been able to shot-shape as well. It's really everything you'd want in a club. Also, my distance has vastly improved. And now I have every option to get me to the green. 11/10, I say. Thanks, Gigagolf!

I am not going lie, but I was very skeptical when I ordered these clubs. At this price, I figured they were going to be some cheap knock-offs. I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and pulled out what appeared to be high quality clubs. I rushed to the course within 30 minutes of getting my clubs and, again, was pleasantly surprised! These clubs feel amazing and make it very difficult to mishit a shot. Consistently, I was gaining 20-30 yards on all of my iron shots. Now, I am not saying that this was solely due to the scientific build of the club. I am sure that much of it is just the confidence I got from looking down this aggressive iron, but I'll take whatever works! I am definitely coming here for my driver and 3 wood next! I highly recommend these clubs!

Have been out of golf for around 10 years now. Played a lot in college and really haven't had interest until recently. Bought a box store set to get going (didn't research DTC). The top flight clubs I bought were underwhelming in every aspect. Decided after a few rounds to invest in something better. Found Gigagolf and r3ad the reviews, thought why not? Had to be better than my current clubs. Let me say, I had a set of Callaway Xts back in the day. They weren't top of the line, but they were nowhere near 300 bucks for a set and were not fitted to my height. These clubs are twice as good as the old Calllways I had. I am thoroughly impressed after 2 range visits and 1 round of golf. They're forgiving, give great feedback and have a decent amount of playability. I'm still getting back in the groove, but have been able to set up a few decent draws using these clubs. If you're on the fence, as I was, go for it. These are easily better than any 800 dollar set of irons from the big 3. Thanks Gigagolf for exceeding my expectations.

I am new to golf so take my review for what it's worth. I got used Top Flites from a friend and after going to the range a few times I decided I should upgrade as I could tell the Top Flites just weren't very good. I ordered these with the graphite shafts and Crease X2 grips 5-PW and bought a used set of Taylormade Burner Plus irons to compare the two. These were slightly more than the Taylormades so I had hoped honestly to save the money on the used clubs and use the 30 day money back guarantee. The TRX were much better in my opinion. While they were basically the same in terms of quality, the larger heads and harder loft of the TRX Ion clubs greatly improved my accuracy. Since then I've compared more models and specs online and dsay these more than stand up to any clubs in the $800 range for well under half with custom specs. The shipping is fast and the clubs are packaged well. It's important to note that these clubs are basically the equivalent to a MAX sized head from Taylormade or Callaway so keep that in mind if you prefer a standard club head size. I've not only purchased the 3 and 4 iron since, but also the SGS wedges in the matching finish. I also convinced a friend to purchase the 3 and 5 woods. If you want to save money and not sacrifice quality, these clubs are the way to go.

Ion Control Irons in black chrome finish with graphite shafts. One word on performance: EXCELLENT! I went to a fitting for PXG Gen 5's, ordered them...then realized that was way too much money compared to past value I have from Giga Golf irons. Cancelled order on PXG and went with Ion Controls, soooo glad I did. Fabulous irons, very accurate e-fit which did match the professional fitting numbers. The spin on golf ball with short irons was the most pleasant surprise. That is combo of the ball height I am getting from shafts plus the grooves must be very effective. Love the black on black combo with Winn DriTac Grips, sexy! The only recommendation would be to not place sticker/plate on back of Iron. Looks ok just would prefer the black chrome finish on back as well. Might call them to see if I remove it, would it goof up finsih or look somehow. If you are fence with Ion Controls.. jump off fence and order them! You will not regret it.

I wanted to leave a review of the TRX Ion Control Irons that I received on May 26/22. I custom ordered my set (Left handed with the UST HDX 80 firm graphite shaft and +1/2 inch length and +3 degree upright on all irons) on May 22 and 4 days later they were delivered to me in Canada. I was nervous ordering irons with graphite shafts(1st time) and have now played three times with them and I'm really impressed! Long and straight with any of the irons. Very easy to hit and work the ball. Lots of backspin when approaching a green. I'm a 59yo guy with a 9.2 handicap and have played lots of different iron sets over the years, trying to find something that is available in a left hand configuration that feels really good in my hands. I think I've finally found what I've been looking for. Don't hesitate to try these!

Beautiful irons! I have not liked the look of irons this much since my Cleveland 588 blades, over 20 years ago. The irons setup very well. Just enough flange to forget they are not blades with the forgiveness and weight of cavity backs. I am not one who normally leaves reviews.

I like these clubs. I usually hit circa '92 Titleist DCI Blacks. These are somewhat similar in loft, although I would prefer the even more traditional lofts that the Gigagolf forged clubs have. That being said, for the price, these black bastards are supreme. They do not travel as far as my Titleist clubs, even though they are more aggressively lofted, but that is a-ok. I hit my Titleist DCI black 7 iron (36')about 175 yards on average, these fall just about 4-5 yards short of that. (Both brands with stiff shafts) That has to do with the stock shafts I had put on, the "20%" lighter shafts. These suckers go very high when I hit them, which is nice because they just stick to the greens. I really like this company. I am going to try out their cavity forged irons as they are very much like an updated dci which is what I am used to, and they are pretty. Side note: For you who are curious about the black finish wearing off.- I have hit well over 1500 balls with the clubs. The black is hard to rub off for certain. I live in Texas and the soil here is rough on equipment. A+ truly, try them out.

I bought a 5 iron CPO. For the price, it was a steal. This club, which I find superior in fit and feel to my 15+ yr old old Ping Irons, assured me that Gigagolf makes good stuff. Then I bought a whole set of single length Power Slots irons. If they made single length in this clubhead, I would have bought these. The club I'm reviewing is a 5 iron w 39.25" shaft (+1.25). The club gets the ball in the air with ease and accuracy. It has a soft feel to me, and I find it very easy to swing and strike the ball properly. It has a lighter feel than the TRX Power Slot Single Length set- notably so, though they the are rated at the same swing weight. These feel lithe. I suppose that's where the control feeling comes from. These feel more subject to my will in the swing while the heavier feeling 'power' slots seem to guide the swing with their weight. It's actually very different but both are good. One thing to note is that on paper these irons have loft and lie of one-higher. That is to say the 5-iron I own has the loft and lie of the 6-iron in the other sets, which explains why some folks are losing distance and -hopefully- gaining control. I still hit this 5 about the same D as my old one when I do it right at the range.

I found out about from my dad who got the trx power slot irons 5-pw used for $150. I had callaway x-12's that were a hand me down from my grandfather. These were alright but they didn't fit me well and the shaft was way too flexy for me. I went looking everywhere, did weeks of research and came to a conclusion that gigagolf is the best option by far, when looking for iron sets at least!(never tried driver or hybrid yet) i got these clubs with lamkin crossline grips( look and feel greAt, highly recommend) , a -1 lie adjustment, as well as a wedge with a golfpride grip on it for $200. For an iron set custom fit with new grips would regularly cost around $700 and would be of the same quality. The only difference is the name on the hossel. Have found only positive things to say about these clubs and this company! 10/10

Bought 6-PW for my girlfriend who is just learning to play golf - her first set of clubs. She loves them! Iâ??ve hit them a few times and they feel really solid (but Iâ??m 6â??5â?? and these clubs are adjusted for her 5â??2â?? frame!). They look pretty slick with the black graphite shaft and white golf pride wrap grips. Iâ??m sure sheâ??ll be using these for a long time to come.

I bought these irons with a sand and pitching wedge about two years ago. To this day they are still one of the best investments I've made. I'm 6'4 so finding an inexpensive set of clubs that are custom length is a huge benefit. They were so good last year I bought a driver from Giga Golfers well. I started playing golf in June of 2020. I had a set of super game improvement irons given to me to learn with. I have improved to the point that I wanted some irons that I could work. I tried some blades, but my swing speed isn't high enough to get the distance I needed. I had been eye balling the Ion Control irons for a while and finally pulled the trigger. I bough the 4-P and added the 52 and 56 degree SGS Black. Played my first round yesterday and shot an 80! My second best round ever!! I love how the clubs fit me. I am currently at a 10 handicap and look forward to dropping that going forward. Thanks Gigagolf.

These clubs are nice. I took them out to the range and found that I lost 10 yards, but I was expecting that, my burner plus irons are 1/2 inch longer and I had a 1/2 an inch cut off the new ones. Thatâ??s whole inch off and theTRX lofts are a bit less. But my shots were more accurate, no more good shot and itâ??s going left again LOL. Scored a 73 on a 72 par course and was 1 under on the front 9. Iâ??m a 5 handicap I got the,Center Cut mod. 19 ion putter, and the S2 Oil Can wedge 56dr. Both clubs are magic, I will get the TRX 460a drive and 3 wood plus the 3 and 4 hybrids. And just because Iâ??m so happy Iâ??m going to try the TRX Power Slot Irons. Thumbs up GigaGolf.

I've seen tons of positive reviews on these irons, as they should be. While some people like me may have lost some distance on some other Giga clubs we've used in the past, you can make it up with a shaft change or just adding longer clubs to your set like I have. What I love about the graphite shafts I've moved to is they get the ball in the air, like I needed to, and they can play out of even mid-level rough - even the longer irons. They look awesome, also, with the black graphite shaft and black club heads. Like all of the other irons and hybrids I've bought from GG, they perform with all the top brands and are an incredible value. I hope more low handicappers like me jump on the GG train because you get the performance of the top brands. Highly recommend the Ion Controls to anyone. Where do I start? Like most people reading this, you're wondering if these clubs are as good as the name brands. Well the answer is simply, YES. Are they better? No. They're exactly the same as name brands, but you get them at an incredible price. I have a friend(fellow golfer) who is much better than I and plays with very expensive Mizuno MP64s. He came by one day (I live on a golf course)and I told him about my giga golf purchase. I went and grabbed my 5 iron and we had a quick comparison. I let him hit both clubs, his mizuno 5 iron and my giga 5 iron. Guess what, no difference, except he paid 4X what I paid. Actually he hit the Giga club about 5 yards further but that is such a small difference that I'm not going to harp on it. The moral of the story is the clubs are just the same from a quality perspective. If you are looking for value, buy Giga. If you are trying to impress your buddies, buy name brand. Either way, hit'em long and straight.

Got my control irons last night, took them out tonight and hit a small bucket and then played 9 holes. The clubs performed as well, if not better, than my taylor made set. I had great distance and loft and every club held true to the distances I'd expect from my previous sets, maybe even a touch longer. All said I'd highly recommend these irons!

Just took delivery of my TRX Ion 6-PW, a 5 TRX Hybrid, and a SGS Black GW. The value is the best in the industry IMO. I ordered them on a Monday and they were at my house on Thursday. I ordered from GigaGolf primarily to experiment with a lighter shaft (FeatherFlight) and I wanted to try shorter irons to simplify my swing plane. So far I am more than pleased with my purchase. The only minor complaint I have is that I wish the head on the Wedge was a little bigger, but it's not that big a deal. I will probably order a driver next.

I just received my TRX Ion Control irons today. I got the 3iron thru sand wedge. Wow. they were better looking than I ever imagined and they inspired so much confidence at address. This was my first gigagolf purchase, and I have a feeling that more of their clubs are going to make their way into my bag. I wish I hadn't opted for the sand and approach wedges, though. There is nothing at all wrong with them but the individual irons Gigagolf sells look amazing!!! I actually got my best nine-whole score with these clubs on the first time out. I think these clubs are best suited for the intermediate to advanced player, as they do not have the utmost forgiveness. Don't get me wrong, though, these are pretty darn forgiving. Thank you Gigagolf for making an outstanding product.

I am a beginner golfer who only really has one year of playing experience under my belt, but I noticed an immediate difference after trying these clubs. To be fair, I'm not switching over from some major brand. The clubs I had before were really crappy off-brand clubs with graphite shafts that I had adjusted after buying (I'm a +1 length). So, while I cannot attest to how these measure up to the big brands, I can say that these hit very well when I took them out on the range for the first time today. Every ball I made good contact on popped right off the club head effortlessly and flew straight, and I'm sure I'll be able to get the distance I want out of them as my game progresses. If you are a beginner like me and aren't ready to drop $700 on a custom set from a major brand, I would highly recommend getting these irons. They hit great, and even with upgrades to the shaft (true temper dynamic gold) and expedited shipping (and adding a 4 iron to the set) my set only cost $230. Great value for quality custom clubs, can't wait to play 18 with them.

I have been using the TRX Irons for about 5 years. During that time I have hit clubs that cost $899.00 and up a set. None come close to matching my needs and abilities like the TRX irons. Value is not an issue for me, fun is and these irons make golf fun for me. I had a lung transplant about two years ago, now I am back playing golf again and loving it more than ever. When I put my hands on the grips of my irons I feel like they were made just for me.

Received my control irons today. Only had time to hit a big bucket of balls and while I still have my swing problems and no club can ever fix that, the clubs to appear to make even my worst shots reasonably straight. I went for the standard grips and frankly I love them. They feel great. I'm hopefully (wx permitting) playing tomorrow and I play in a league on Monday night. I'm hoping that the clubs help me to be a little more accurate. Combine that with more swing work and trying to relax my swing and I think I have a good combination. When I consider that my old clubs (Titlest DTR) where 25 years old this is a huge step up. I notice the faces seem bigger which when I'm off in my swing seems to give me a bigger margin for error. Now if I can just trim down the errors I think it will make my golf more enjoyable.

Great clubs and a great company. I received my clubs in just 3 days and exactly as I ordered them. The performance of these clubs are unbelievable. I was a little put off at first because they are clone clubs but I have to tell you it makes no difference at all. For example, I was at a long par 3 that I normally use my 6 iron on but what I didn't realize is that I had grabbed my 9 by accident and I still put it on the green. Great set of clubs.

Being a low single figure handicapper, I was a little unsure whether or not to purchase these irons. I'm so glad I did, they are fantastic and tick all the boxes. Not only are they a great looking iron, they also perform very well. I had them fitted with Dynamic Gold Shafts and what a combination. Very easy to work the ball and control the flight. Give you a lot of confidence at address which all golfers need, no matter your handicap. The service from Gigagolf was second to none, answered several questions I had before making the purchase. I had been looking at the Command BK irons from Pinmeadow for a couple of weeks. The only thing that kept me from ordering was that they would not bend the heads up 2 degrees. After much deliberation I was going to order after on more go 'round of the club reviews. That is when I came across the GigaGolf site. I found the TRX's and everything seemed to look great, plus they would allow for the custom fit that I need, and the price was incredibly reasonable (that is an understatement). After I ordered I was in a local sporting goods and saw the Command BK's on the shelf. They looked nice but not as impressive as they do online. I began to wonder if I had made a good choice going with an off-brand. Well, I just got my new TRX's (a day earlier then projected) and they are beautiful. After hitting a bucket I can say they are the easiest club to hit that I have ever had. I am an 11 hcp. but my biggest inconsistency has been the approach shot. I was playing Ping S59's and I just couldn't hit that second shot to the green as well as I would like. These seem to help significantly. As for appearance, the Command BK's look like they have been spray painted black but the TRX's have a real quality finish that looks like it will wear over time into a nice gunmetal appearance. I am very satisfied and recommend this site and these clubs to anyone.

My favorite clubs of my GigaGolf set by a clear mile! Would recommend getting the approach iron for leaves between pw and sw, for me its 120meters and 80meters. I'm seriously contemplating on getting the 3iron, the only club I left out of this iron set!

I just wanted to thank Bill and his team for their professionalism and responsiveness. Truly hard to find in this day and age. Next, the irons. I have read a lot of the comments on Gigagolf's site and it seems many are from beginner and/or older golfers. I would like to make a comment on these TRX Ion irons from a once competitive and now occasionally competitive golfer. I have seen my handicap drop 4 or 5 strokes into the low digits with these clubs. Excellent ball flight control without giving up distance. Shaping your shots is a little difficult, but who needs to when you are hitting them straight! I have since put my DT Titliests to rest, which I never thought I would do. I wanted to try a custom-fitted club, without the big price tag. Honestly, the price of these is just an added bonus. I recommend Gigagolf clubs to the low and high handicapper. Need junior clubs, I would love to get a few nice sets for my kids...

Saved up and bought these clubs 2 months ago after about 9 years with the GX922's from this site so I figured it was time for an upgrade. I have used these clubs for about 6 rounds and also at the driving range multiple times. I have noticed that I have lost almost a club and half worth of distance compared to my old irons. I used to hit my 8 iron right around 150 yards with the old clubs, with these clubs I am hitting it around 130-135 yards. I am extremely disappointed with my purchase and have actually gone back to my old GigaGolf irons, until I can save up again to upgrade. Too late to return them so I guess they will just sit in the garage. I referred many friends to this site because of the old irons but am apprehensive after seeing these new ones in action.

Considering I only paid a bit over $300, this far surpassed my expectations from Gigagolf in terms of build quality (saving me about 3-400 bucks off a new set of R7 at the time). Bill from customer service is already mailing out another weight medallion to replace the missing one. Being 2 years from original purchase, I'm surprised they would still assist in addressing my issue. I doubt I will ever go back to big name clubs again without checking Gigagolf to see if they have a similar model. I just ordered a P3 driver and am considering trying out a set of their forged cavity back Pursuit irons.

First season with the new clubs is almost over (sigh). I paid for the expedited shipping, which literally arrived in Canada overnight once shipped! I am extremely impressed with the quality of the clubs, they look and feel great. I constantly get asked where I got them. Now only if I could get a swing that looks as good as the clubs. Oh well, if you can't play well, at least look good while doing it! I also get the Ti Driver, and will be upgrading my fairway woods this off season, again with Gigagolf! PS. Do you guys have a hat for sale? With all the questions I get asked about the clubs, it'd be a great addition to the word of mouth advertising you're already receiving.

I ordered the TRX ion Control Irons(3-PW). I received my order on time and everything was in perfect condition. I 've been playing for about 3 years with a off the rack set(which has served me well) but being 6'6" I wanted a custom set made for me but didn't want to invest the money it would cost for a name brand set. A friend suggested I give Giga Golf a try, and must say I am glad I did. In the three weeks since I received my order, I've played 4 rounds and been to the driving range twice with my new irons. I've added about 8-10yds with each iron, I'm hitting the ball better, straighter, and been in position to make birdie or par more then I ever had before with my old irons.(if only I could sink some putts). I would order from Giga again in a heartbeat.

I am a 16 handicap player and this past week I received my new TRX Ion control irons. My first thought was that these clubs are stunning and I hoped they would play as good as they looked. I got my chance to use them 2 days later at a course that has always gave me trouble. Because of the way I was able to strike the ball with my new irons I shot my best for that course and 3 strokes under my average. I spent 2 years in a golf retail store and have played every major brand and these clubs play better than any I have tried. I can not wait for my next purchase. Thank you GigaGolf.

I am happy and amazed at the Ion Control clubs. They arrived quickly and in great condition. They were very well made, better than some major manufacturer clubs. I have practiced with them and played a round as well and am very pleased with the results. I was able to shape some shots, definitely got a bit more distance, say between 5-10 yards or so (the weight difference between these and my former irons is astounding, and this is with the Feather Flight steel!) . My accuracy needs work but moving to custom clubs from standard clubs does take a bit of getting used to, however I blame me not the clubs. :) Several of my friends were very impressed by not only the look but the feel of the clubs so I think Gigagolf can expect a few more orders. I know I'll be purchasing some woods soon. Thanks again for the quality, inexpensive (NOT cheap!) product and quick and efficient service.

Received my Irons today had them out on my lawn hitting into the net within an hour. The black coating looks amazing. The clubs feel solid and well constructed. I also got the trx 3,5 hybrids, gx2 ti driver and a sgs black 60 deg wedge. All of these clubs met and exceed my expectations for build quality and appearance really look forward to hitting them on the course. Showed them to my brother who was very impressed and I think I changed his mind about the callaway copies he was going to order from china. Thanks giga golf from a very impressed Canuck!!!!

honestly I didn't trust this site at first thinking that the reviews were posted by giga golf itself. but I needed a cheap set of irons cause my other set was older than I was. I chose the TRX because they were on the cheaper end of the GG models and I liked the black club heads. I received the order in a few days and took them out for a round. I shot an 85 with them (about 15 better than the last time) and it must have been the irons because my putting was still a little off. I made some great shots with these irons like a long green attempt from a fairway bunker and one that stuck within 3 feet of the hole from the rough with my 9 iron. also a shot from the exact same spot with my 4 iron landed about 20 yards farther and straighter than the last time where I didn't clear the pond to the right. I had never played that well in my life and I believe that my $175 clubs were to thank for it. the only problem I had was the short shots that needed some touch to them. for me, taking a full swing resulted in some great shots but the bump and runs and sand shots were a little hard to get in the air with any kind of spin. imp looking forward to trying one of the wedges that GG offers. vie been eying the SGS Black to go along with my TRXs

I ordered the TRX Ion control irons RH (5-PW) and added a 3 and 4 with the standard temper feather flight shafts, standard length with a -2 lie adjustment (really was a good idea for being a bigger guy to get the lie adjustment. The shaft I got a stiff flex and for the grips I upgraded to the Golf Pride Tour Velvet Grip. I have to say these clubs are phenomenal, ihad been using an old set of clubs my uncle gave me from about 10 years ago that were a sports store brand from Sports Authority. I demoed some Callaway Diablos and Taylor Made burners and X-22's. I noticed I hot the ball farther with the taylor made's but not with a lot of control and I have better control with the Diablos but not hitting the ball as far. The TRX irons are the perfect balance between control and distance and I really feel I am striking the better 100% better then my other clubs. First round I played with them I shot an 87 on a course I play very often, and the weekend before had shot over 100. I strongly recommend these clubs to anyone, don't go buy name brand clubs thses are very much comparable to those clubs and in most areas out perform them.

I didn't intend on replacing my irons until 2013, and at that time I was going to have new irons custom fit to my swing. My current irons were reshafted by a local shop to match my swing and I won't buy off the shelf clubs ever again. So, when I saw gigagolf.com custom fit clubs I was intrigued, and when I saw the TRX Ion I was really hooked. I like the design and more specifically the black finish of the irons. The price was too good to pass up, and after playing 4 rounds with the TRX irons I am confident they play as well as my previous set which I love. My girlfriend is looking for new clubs and without hesitation I encouraged her to look at what gigagolf.com has to offer. When the time comes to replace my driver and hybrids I will start with gigagolf.com.

AMAZING clubs! Got them yesterday and went to a small par 3 today to try them out. I know it was just a par 3, but i'm not the best player in the world. Shot my first Birdie and Par'd most of the holes. I am normally a bogey-double bogey player. Amazing control and accuracy. ONLY bad thing...after 18 there were quite a few marks on the clubs. b/c they have the dark look, the "nicks" really show. I personally don't care that much about what they look like as long as they shoot good. Although I have never shot an $800 set of calloway irons, i can't see how they could be ANY better than these. Would recommend these clubs to anyone! Beginner or Pro!

I have had these clubs for about a year now. Finally upgraded and was really thinking about spending 500+ on nike's or Callaway's. Knew about this site and figured I would try these clubs. After Demoing many of the late model "high end" clubs I have to say that these compare with them 100%. To be honest I like these clubs better than most expensive ones I tried. They gave me an extra 20 yards on most clubs and coming from a ok golfer that is awesome. Truly recommend buying these clubs!! Note: As said they do scratch off a bit of the black from normal use. It really isn't a big deal but if it is to you than this is another warning! BUY THESE CLUBs!!

For anyone thinking that these clubs are a interim set that they will keep for a season or two until they by a $1200.00 set of "real clubs". Well they are dead wrong! These are real clubs! I've been playing a set of TRX control irons for five seasons now and they are as great now as the first day I got them dirty. They have helped me better my game season after season and still look great. I've had other guys try these irons and they can't get over what a value they are or how well they compare to their brand name clubs. My next set will be from Giga Golf.

Ok, so I have had these clubs since Christmas of 2011 and decided to try them out a while before my review. These irons are absolutely amazing. They're easy to hit and beautiful. Compared to the quality and feel of my friends Pings they are in my opinion better. I don't know how this site hasn't grown in VERY popular. I currently have the GRX hybrid which is no longer sold, the TRX irons, the square fairway 3 wood, and have the SGS wedge on the way. All of these clubs are absolutely beautiful to hit and to play and I would recommend them to anybody. I'm decent and they're great for shaping the shots.

I have had my TRX Ion Control irons now for about 2 months or so and have gotten in about a half dozen rounds along with a couple of driving range sessions. I am about a 16 handicapper so by no means a scratch golfer. I'll tell you what, I can't be more pleased with my purchase. As everyone who buys anything from Giga Golf will tell you, their customer service, ease of use and quality of equipment is second to none. My game has improved quite a bit this year for a number of reasons, one of which is these clubs. I am not going to say that these irons have shaved x amount of strokes off my game because as we all know, it is practice and a good swing that helps your game most. What I can say is that these clubs are very easy for a golfer like me to hit. From the first swing at the range they felt great. I instantly began making solid contact with each swing. That has given me tremendous confidence when standing over each shot. I am naturally playing better golf because of it. I still have bad shots from time to time because I do something funky with my swing and I can feel that as soon as I make contact with the ball. Im certainly not ready for the PGA tour but I am playing some really enjoyable golf. Bogey golf is no longer my goal but rather my average. Now I am working on my game to get me into the low 80s and I am confident that with practice and these irons I can do it. Now if I could just putt better Id be there already but that is a whole other issue&..

Ordered my TRX Ion irons before Christmas last year and finally got a chance to get out and play a round with them. I've played off the shelf clubs all my life and wanted to get a custom fit set but as most of us, didn't want to pay the high price. Front nine 48, Back nine 40, took me a while to get use to the 2 degree upright I guess. I feel with a few more rounds everything is going to get soooo much better, these irons have a crisp sound and feel to them and I'm hooked on GigaGolf products, so much so my neighbor is seriously considering ordering a set in the near future. The TRX Ion Controls are great! I am a higher handicapper but am able to hit the ball very straight with these. I can't work the ball very well anyway but I am able to get a good draw off the ball. The feel and look of the clubs are excellent. So far the clubhead have not been scuffed at all which I was expecting with a black clubhead. Bill took great care of me with my order and would recommend gigagolf to anyone.

My clubs: TRX ion control irons (5-PW), graphite stiff flex shafts with the standard grips (shoulda upgraded the grips!! At this price!! Why not!!) Didn't want to do a review till I played a few rounds and owned them long enough (owned clubs for 3 months now) to give a good and fair evaluation! Many practice hours on the range and 7 rounds later, here's my review!! I heard about gigagolf from a friend who I told I was picking up the game again after being away from it for over five years. He told me his Dad had some giga-clubs and was satisfied with his purchase. I found it hard to believe the prices when I first went to the website. I really loved the look of the TRX irons and just had to order them after reading the positive reviews. Once I got the irons I went immediately out to the range and started swinging away! What a great feeling to be hitting the irons soooo straight and solid after being away from the game for so long! It was like my swing never left me! I don't really remember hitting my irons so straight and consistent when I had a used set of Cobra's before this. I've now been using the clubs for three months and I really love to use them for any shot on the course! I have a name brand driver that I am a little inconsistent with and am thinking about selling it and purchasing a driver from gigagolf. I never used to like to hit many of my irons off the tee box but now I will not even hesitate to grab an iron and put that bad boy in play! Just the other day had a decent game (still showing some rust in my game) and my buddy started to say how much my game has improved. I told him that it had a lot to do with the confidence these irons are giving me to swing away and put it where I want it! Been hitting a lot of par four greens in two with the five iron but been three putting. Just need to work on my putting skills and I'll have my game back to where it used to be! Wasn't completely sure about this site at first. I spent a better part of 7 hours here reading, looking, configuring, pricing, and debating on these clubs. I just received my clubs and have to say that I am satisfied with my decision to buy online. I haven't had the chance to actually play them yet, (raining today), but when I do I am sure they will perform as well I expect. I really like the looks of these clubs, they are awesome looking. They have a great feel when swinging( I have been doing this), and seem to fit perfect. I plan on playing them on Wednesday, so I will repost any comments I have on the performance. Great clubs. These clubs are plenty long and easy to hit. They are not as forgiving as some other irons offered on the site, but the club face is very large which inspires a lot of confidence when I stand over the ball. With these clubs you can easily feel where the ball made contact with the club face which makes swing problems much easier to identify.

I've had these clubs for about two years now and have probably put over 10,000 swings on each one (9i-4i). Now that I've taken some lessons and actually learned how to properly swing a golf club, I've gone looking at golf shops for "name brand" clubs and always come away feeling that the TRX v.11 Ion Control irons are the clubs for me. Distance? I hit my 4 iron consistently 210 and my 7 iron around 170. I can add 10 yards to each by really leaning into it. Accuracy? I've had galleries of people watching me warm up before hit one ball after the other straight as an arrow. Workability? I hit the best shot of my life last weekend- 35 yard draw around a bush that was 10 feet in front of me; 150 yards with an 8 iron into the wind to within 35 feet of the pin (of course I three-putted for a bogey, but I'm not reviewing a putter here!). I don't know that any $1000 "player's" irons would have done much more for me. The black finish has obviously worn off, but they still perform very well and I've hit from every hardpan lie you can possibly imagine. Folks, unless you have an endorsement deal from a big-name golf company, do yourself a favor and give Gigagolf a try. I can't endorse them strongly enough.

I would like to start my review by saying that I am not a beginner to this game. I've played since I was a kid and my handicap is a 4. I happened upon this web site looking for golf club reviews for Taylor Made r7's. Being somewhat leery of "knockoffs", I was hesitant to try these but they looked so much like the "real" ones I had to try them. The TRX ion irons are excellent. Very well constructed, each lie is correct, "I checked them", and they feel fantastic. I have played for years with blades and turning 40 I noticed I needed a little bit of help but didn't want to give up any workability. The TRX clubs were exactly what I needed. Great job!!!

I have had these irons almost a year now. They are great and have given me more confidence in my swing. My only complaint is the circular weight disks have come off some of the clubs, but I had some more sent to me... Looks like it was a problem for others too and has been addressed on the new clubs. The black finish has also held up great after approx 30 rounds. GigaGolf Yes, some of the first shipments did have some issues with the weights. Especially, when in hotter climates or in the truck of a car. The entire backplate was redesigned and tested under more rigorous conditions. Any customer with the older version is invited to return the clubs for repair or we can send replacement parts.

I demoed some Callaway X-22's and TaylorMade Burners before trying these out (my first Gigagolf purchase) and these play much better than both. A solid hit feels stronger and I was getting more distance on these than the Callaways and about the same as the TaylorMades. I get a higher ball flight on these, though, without a loss of distance. Maybe the only critique I have is that I lose ALOT of distance when I hit the ball anywhere near the toe, but after some swing adjustments that rarely happens and I think it would be true no matter what clubs you play. Awesome clubs with an unbeatable price!

I have used the clubs a couple of times now and am very impressed with the feel. I've played with forged clubs my whole life and had only taken a few trial swings with cast clubs and thought they felt dead. I decided to try the TRX as I'm getting older and not playing as much so I need a little more forgiveness. I had upgraded the shaft but after talking to Bill finally went with the standard shafts and I couldn't be happier. I can tell exactly where the ball is hitting the face and when you hit it pure it is beyond my expectations by a mile. Every part of the experience has been a joy and I highly recommend these clubs.

I had been looking for a set of irons to replace my old hand-me-downs I had been using since I had started golfing about 15 years ago. Being a lefty, it is somewhat difficult to find a quality set of clubs without spending a lot of money to get them. I always had problems with longer irons before but the Ions are easy to hit and get high for a softer landing. Short irons were automatic! It was like throwing the ball at the target by hand! I just received this set of irons today and shipping was faster than I expected. First thing I did was go to the range and all I can say is I wish I had found these clubs sooner. I have been playing a set of poorly fitted Cobra II irons for the last six years and had forgot what it felt like to hit a solid iron shot. I felt that kick that I had been missing for so long. I will be recommending giga golf from now on. I was very hesitant to order online and I must have called customer service 10 times before I finally pulled the trigger on this set. Update to my previous feedback. I loved the TRX ION Control Irons but I had a co-worker who is actually a pretty decent golfer that was badly in need of a set of irons. He was playing mismatched garage-sale specials while trying to save money for some high-end irons. I traded them to him for a old 4 hybrid and He loves them! It actually made me feel good when he looked like a kid in a candy shop handling the irons. He says they hit straight and long and it is the first 4 iron he has ever been able to hit consistently. He now says he "has the irons that he wants..." I think that is a testament to the kind of product you have!. Keep up the good work!

I have now played 2 rounds with my new TRX irons and have swung them many times at the driving range. I really wasn't sure what to expect with a non name brand club but the results are amazing!! I'm no longer working on keeping my shots straight at the range, I'm attacking the yard markers. I'm used to clubs off the shelf but with the custom lie, length, stiffness and grip all for $200, you cannot beat this club!!!! Feels just like the R7 but for a 1/4 of the price. I talked with Bill Baxter before I purchased these, and he was full of knowledge and seem very excited to help me out. Good customer service is hard to find these days so his enthusiasm was greatly appreciated. Shipping was one day late but that's not GigaGolf fault, but when I called UPS about it, they sent someone out after hours to deliver these and were also very helpful. Wow! Where do I start?!? I have some pretty nice clubs all from Callaway but my three wood and my irons were leaving me a bit unfulfilled...so I decided to maybe check into an alternative. I had a few extra dollars and I had heard about the Gigagolf website so I thought what the heck? At first when I seen all the glowing reviews I thought it was a hype job done by the Gigagolf staff to prop up their business--but the prices were so reasonable that I figured at worse I would be out of less than what it costs to take the family to Golden Corral. After I did the efit system I found a set of TRX ION Control irons in the pre-owned section that fit me to a tee. Scooped them up to next to nothing along with a couple of three woods just to try out (Hey at that price, its cheaper than putting gas in your car to drive to the golf store.) Anyways, I got them today and I was honest to God shocked...These irons look and feel like high quality $600 clubs! WTF?!? I was expecting some cheap K-Mart looking crap! I rushed out to the course to give them a tryout. If they played half as good as they looked, I knew I was going to be real happy. Even though the day is cold and damp, I have never had such a good day with the irons. I was hitting the 6 iron 175-180 yards straight as an arrow! That is impossible for me. I am happy when my 5 iron goes that far and it doesn't hook like Captain Cook....It was so crazy that I totally overshot the green more than once on the first few holes before I figured I had to club down with these. The other clubs weren't quite there as the three woods were no better than the Callaway FT-9 3 wood I carry--but man, the TRX Irons put my Diablo Edges to shame. I am kinda pissed that I spent $400 on them and they are served by a set of clones costing about 1/3 what they do. All I got to say is that I will investigate more of Gigagolfs clubs as I get more "extra" money. I definitely need a replacement for my beat up RAZR Hawk Driver but I don't want to spend $400 on a new one. Bottom Line is I don't know for sure about all their products, but I know these irons are for real. Still trying to figure out how I got these quality clubs so cheap. They ain't paying me to say that either...If their stuff was garbage, trust me I be posting it all over the feedback forums. Before you throw down a weeks paycheck on a set of irons check these out. As for the fact that they ain't Callaways, PINGS, or TaylorMades, get over yourself and stop trying to please folks. Get clubs that work for you and don't miss paying your car note in the process...

All I can is AWESOME! After much deliberation, I chose to go with GigaGolf. I emailed back and forth with Bill (one off GigaGolf's great Club Fitting Specialist), who was pretty helpful in helping me pick the right clubs. I am pretty much a beginner to the game of golf, but did not want to limit my growth as a golfer. So with Bill's help, I decided to go with irons that would grow with me and my game as I learn to shape my shots and work draws and fades into my game. The TRX Ion Control Irons that I purchased gave me just what I wanted: Custom clubs fit perfectly to my body type, size, and swing speed. As soon as I received the clubs, I opened them up and everything I ordered was there and came well packed. I had about two and half hours before I had to go to work, so off to the driving range I went! I ran through the bag, from wedge to driver and hit two small buckets of balls. The clubs were easy to hit right off the bat. The midsized Sensatec VR grips I got on the irons and wedges are PRIMO! Glad I went with the midsize as I was right on the cusp between regular and midsize. I went with the default steel shafts and they perform beautifully. Not really knowing what my swing speed was, I chose the stiff flex. I would say to any male golfer out there who is fit and relatively strong and athletic should go with the stiff flex. But beware, shaft flex seems to differ GREATLY from one manufacturer to another! This is my first set of clubs that I have owned, so I didn't have too much to compare them too. However, compared to my friends Acuity set, I was hitting my irons about 15 yards further and for the first time EVER I hit a driver without slicing or hooking it badly. Crushed the 4 hybrid over 200 yards and my 5 wood straight and almost 250 yards. If you want irons that give you a good amount of forgiveness but with some shot shaping, these are a great choice!

I got a set of these irons for Christmas and I haven't had a chance to go and actually play a round yet but I have been to the range several times. I am extremely impressed with the quality of these irons. I hit them very straight even on mis-hits and can't wait to get out to the course. I also wanted to say this is a legit customer review, I was pretty skeptical of this site at first because they don't do much advertising and I spent hours reading reviews looking at different sets and debating on trying them or going for a used set of brand names. After much deliberation and looking at other options, I finally decided to try them because I decided that I'd rather have some custom fit clubs than a set of brand names that were too short for me. I have added distance and accuracy to all my irons on the range and have no regrets. I also bought a set of pre-owned Reva hybrids 3 and 4 and love them they hit smoother than anything I have tried and they hit straight and true on 98% of my shots. I liked all of my clubs so much that when they put the preowned clubs on half price I had to order a driver. I got a P2 Ti driver that was my height for 22 dollars and took it out today when the weather finally permitted and I LOVE it from the first shot i hit they were perfectly straight and added at least 20 yards to my drives. The customer service and communication is great also, Bill emailed and responded to all of my questions fast and courteously. I can't believe how great these clubs are for the money and I plan on getting a wedge next. Do not be afraid to buy from these guys, you wont regret it.

I received the irons this past Friday and with 50 degrees in Chicago I was able to hit about 150 balls at the range. Seems about 5 to 8 yards add per club however the big change is they are right down the middle with just the slightest hint of a fade that I found I could easily work after a while.

I have now had a chance to take these irons out on the golf course a couple of times. It took some getting used to but now I've been trying shots I would never have with my old irons. Today I actually hit a fade shot with the 4-iron to get around a big tree that was impeding my path to the green. This was no small feat for me as I know my old irons would have drove this shot onto the neighboring fairway. All I can say is buy these irons. You will not be disappointed! The build quality is excellent and I only bought the base set-up. (Gigagolf grips with TT featherweight shafts) Thanks Gigagolf, you made golfing fun again!!!

Once more, I would like to thank the whole GigaGolf team for their excellent service. On Sunday morning, I ordered the TRX Ion control clubs plus 2 fairway woods. Five days later, I have received the golf clubs in Switzerland. This is just amazing!!! It goes without saying that the price is unbeatable. As a 61 year old lefty, with a 20 hadicap, I decided to transition to graphite from steel. After trying the stiff shaft version of the TRX Ion Control seven iron, I settled in on the reg flex shaft. The return and switch for a full set of TRX irons went smoothly and "Bill" was a great help in customer service. The UST -HDX 80 graphite shaft is a good transition from the light weight steel shaft previously used. I can say without hestitation that GigaGolf was a wise alternative to the local retail stores. It you are looking for a great value in clubs, Go GigaGolf.

I am just getting back into the game after several years and am now a senior (71) so ordered the A flex. I was looking for a TM clone and these seemed to look good and had excellent reviews and I have had good luck with clone clubs in the past. They arrived in good condition and are extremely well build - fit and finish. I have had them on the driving range and played one round with them. While my golf needs a lot of work after so many years these clubs performed extremely well when I did strike to ball correctly. For the price they cannot be beat. Highly recommended.

Ordered clubs Tuesday 9th September- arrived in UK Monday 15Th September. TRX ion control are amazing to look at and have just tried them down the range- they hit fantastic. I had a set of KC2's but had bent six iron so decided to replace with new model. The new set has induced a controllable draw in my iron shots that I never had before - I used to push and slice mainly. Very pleased with SGS wedges also and look forward to playing a round later in the week. Thanks again GigaGolf- fantastic value.
