The S2 wedge incorporates a notched cavity into a scoring wedge. Finally, a wedge that does both with out compromise. Still versatile around the green the S2 is also more forgiving on full shots. Precision milled grooves are USGA 5(c) legal but produce as much or more spin than the tradition series wedges. Slightly larger, comparable in size to what other brands like Cleveland are doing with their wedges. Carbon steel provides a soft touch and feel around the green. A nice addition to the modern set when you are really ready to lower your score. Please note: as with any carbon steel wedge, the S2 will oxidize if stored wet.

the wedges are beautiful, or should I say were. my buddy was jealous of the finish, them thangs are slick as eggs. by the end of one round my new 58 looked battle worn, still handsome. the bronze in gone on the bottom. that makes these sound bad, but that cant be further from the truth, best value in golf. throwing darts after a few hits, 10/10

Just a follow up to my earlier review of the S2 Oil Can wedges: After playing with them several months I really love these wedges. They are a huge improvement over my original TRX wedges. Though the finish wore off some quickly when I first got them, they are no worse for wear after months of constant use. I am way more accurate with these and they are very forgiving. I have the 52 and 56 degree and if available I would also have added a 48.

Got a 60* in the Oil Can finish to round out my scoring clubs. My goodness is this thing easy to hit. I would chip 2-3 times before I could get the ball onto the green. Never even thought about a flop shot. I can consistently get the ball on the green, it's accurate, and the head is perfect shape for a nice clean flop shot. Keep the face clean or there will be no back spin though. Probably true of every club though I expect.

I've been using used 56 & 60 Cleveland 588 wedges off Ebay for years. They've served me ok but never felt totally confident with them. Once I determined my swing required a 2-3* up lie, I decided to order these wedges up 3* in 52, 56, 60. Great quality and took to using a cavity back wedge quickly. I have started to be more consistent and it's helping build confidence from 90 yds and in and using the 60 around the greens is excellent. Overall, very happy with these wedges and getting better every day.

I purchased a 54 degree S2 with the Oil Can finish. The club performs great but after only a month the oil can finish has faded terribly. It also oxidizes very quickly even after wiping it off after every stroke. I believe it needs more sliding or whatever finish applied to keep the club looking good. Iâ??m satisfied with the performance but it ages very rapidly. Perhaps another finish would be much better.

This is one of my favorite clubs in the bag, based on how it performs and feels. With the 58 degree my scores have dropped significantly with the help of this wedge around the greens. However, after about a month of playing, the color on the sole and impact zone of the face starts to wear off. Also, if it is exposed to rain or water, the back will get a little rusty around the corners, but I think it looks cool. All around, it is a great club that I'm very happy with. I plan on purchasing one or two more wedges from GigaGolf.

I have been extremely impressed with each club I have purchased from Gigagolf, up until the oil can 60 degree wedge. I have had it only a few months, and the head is completely rusted. I have kept it with my other clubs the entire time and cleaned it after each use. Yet the head is rusted only on this club.

The Oil Can 52 is perfect for me. Best wedge that I've ever hit. Ordering two more with different lofts.

I picked up the 56 degree. I love it. I was afraid to hit my wedge before I bought this one. It is now my most used club and has definitely improved my scoring. Still trying to master it out of the sand, but it is great from around the greens.

I have to say I am a bit disappointed with the durability of these heads. When they arrived they were as beautiful as the pictures suggest. But I have had my 52* and 56* for less than 2 months and the finish has worn off the bottom of both clubs already. The 56* looks more like it is 2 years old. Canâ??t complain about the forgiveness and playability because they are a definite improvement from the transaction Powerslots wedges that they replaced. I am just surprised how quickly they became worn.

I received these a few weeks ago and finally got around to hitting a few the last couple of days. Initially quality of these is excellent. I bought the 52* and 56* ones and love them. You could pay 3-4x as much and still not get the same quality as these. The bronze color is awesome. It's a good look at address to see the bronze vs. a chrome or stainless wedge. I took a few whacks with them and they are very forgiving. I miss hit more on the heel than toe and it still went pretty much where I was aiming. They carry well and bite when needed. So if you're on the fence grab a couple in your favorite flavor, you won't be disappointed. Jay in customer support was also very helpful with these and a couple of other clubs I bought. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
