Player Ability
Which category best describes your game/handicap?
• High (Handicap > 35, 18 hole score > 110)If you do not know:
Guess "High"! Golf is a difficult game to play well at the start, it is uncommon for a beginner to walk onto an 18 hole course and shoot less than 110. However, if you know you will be playing frequently and therefore have reason to believe you will rapidly improve "Mid" may be the best answer. The resulting shaft suggestion will not affect your game in a negative way. The GigaGolf Shaft wizard will not suggest a premium shaft to a high handicap player. The resulting benefits of a premium shaft for a novice player are small and not worth the added expense and it is likely that your game will change resulting in a inappropriate shaft selection.
Players in the "Mid" handicap group who answer "Low" may be suggested shafts designed with high kick points that are intended to achieve a lower than average ball flight.
Please note: the shafts available in today's market place have been carefully matched with specific player profiles. Some shafts are designed for specific player profiles while others are designed to fit a wider group of players. In other words, there will be some overlap in shaft recomendations.
