The GX944 achieves strong marks for distance, accuracy and feel. The long irons are easy to hit high and straight. The head plows its way through rough and the rounded sole resists digging. Scoring irons are balanced for precision shot making but forgiving enough not to overly penalize shots hit off center. Off-center hits fly almost as far as good ones and shots into greens check and hold like forged blades. On impact the head delivers a compressed feel on flush hits, while providing stability and little aftershock on poor hits.

Materials: 17-4 Stainless
Finish: Polished

*  Add 1/4" for irons builts with graphite shafts. Subtract 1/2" for woods built with steel shafts.
** Substract 6 swingweights for ladies standard. Swingweights listed are for the recommended configuration. Changing length, shaft, or grip options may change swingweights. Adding or subtracting length cause the largest change.

Started years ago with GigaGolf irons when I wanted new custom fitted irons without paying a ransom. Moved to P3 Titanium iron lately and could not be more pleased with the quality and consistency. The order process could not be easier, and shipping-packing was just first class. This company does things right, and you will be very please with the whole process. If you have any doubts, start with and iron set, no wedges, and just experience it first hand at an extraordinary price. The P3 Titanium are simply the best set of irons I have ever had on the course.

I've had my new GX944 irons for 2 weeks now. I'm 62 will be 63 in about a month I am 6ft 2 inches tall and have back problems my last back surgery was a fusion. Since that surgery I have struggled with my Ping irons losing distance and some control. Before my back surgeries I played to a handicap of 7 ...After my last surgery my iron game struggled my scores became erratic it was frustrating losing a good deal of distance to . The GX944 set I ordered was customized to fit my current needs. The shafts were graphite senior flex which comes 1/4inch longer than steel I added another 1 inch of length to the shaft and 1 degree upright. I'm very pleased and exited how well I hit the new GX944 irons I gained back the distance I had lost plus I'm a full 1 club longer. My accuracy is also back and better than with my Ping irons . These irons have a real good feel to them I think they are really well made. It was nice to have them made to my physical needs. It's even better to see my accuracy and distance back . Also the price I paid for the GX944's was nothing compared to what a set of Pings cost. I highly recommend trying this model or any model here . Use the club fitting system then get a great set of irons made for you.

Relative gave me a set so I retired my Callaway Fusion irons. These clubs are fine and the fit was right on. They feel a little heavy late in the round and hit the ball a little higher. The thing is, I was a legit 13 and with these clubs shot my best round ever with a 75 in a club tournament, so I am now stuck with a 6R handicapp for a year.

I am writing this review after having these irons for over a year and a half and playing them often twice a week or more. One weekend even played an epic 90 holes. These clubs have held up superbly. I initially bought 6-SW. I was already using the Gigagolf GX series hybrids in place of my long irons. I later went back and bought the 5 iron when I found I was hitting these irons so well. One of the beauties of being able to purchase individual clubs vs a whole set. I have the graphite shafts with Lamkin grips. If you are scared that buying from Gigagolf will result in low quality do not be. They are solid. I never once had a loose head or broken shaft. I still love the way they look and feel. These are very forgiving irons with that wide sole. Hundreds of holes and countless range balls later I would buy them all over again.

After looking around the internet, hitting a few different makes and models of clubs into the net and analyzing screen at local big box stores… I purchased a set of irons from GigaGolf based on what I thought would be a good set for me. Long story short – the feedback I received from the above sources steered me in the wrong direction, and I ended up contacting Jay in Customer Service and he told me to send the clubs back for a refund. THEN - after talking with Jay for a few minutes – he recommended I purchase a set of GX944 irons with the HDX 80 shafts, Sensatec VX grips, and have them bent up 2° (based on my age, physical condition, swing style and constantly ‘toeing’ the set purchased earlier). Well, Jay sure knows his stuff! I went to the local range to test-drive ‘em after delivery (this was Jay’s recommendation also). I like how these clubs look at address – it gives me the feeling of ‘I can’t miss-hit this club! I pulled the 9 iron from my bag, dropped a ball on the ground, aimed for the 100 yard marker and struck the ball squarely. The ball sailed high and dead towards the marker. It actually went right over the top of it, landing softly 20 yards behind it. I hit all the clubs and everyone performed in just about the same fashion. The only time they didn’t was when I got stupid and tried to ‘kill-the-ball’ pretending this body that is nearing 70 was 20 again. Thanks Jay for your outstanding customer support – you really recommended a winner in my humbled opinion!

I have only played one round with these irons and they have improved my iron play immensely. I was having trouble getting the ball up in the air and was spraying them everywhere as a result of trying to get them up. I now get them up and straight.

These are fantastic clubs for any price. I had a pair of Mizuno T-Zoid Pro II Irons that my brother gave me, but they were too short and too advanced for my game (I'm a new golfer and need cavity backs). I stumbled upon GigaGolf after my dad told me to look online for custom "clone" clubs. After reading the reviews for pretty much every clone manufacturer online, I decided upon GigaGolf and the GX944 irons (I read that the GX944's were very forgiving for a new golfer). I used the eFit tool to custom fit me for +1" and +3 degrees... according to my local club pro the clubs could be a little longer for my frame (I'm 6'7" and 41" from my wrist to the ground) but I went with what the eFit said. Ultimately, I'm glad I didn't get longer because I feel like it would have been too unwieldy for my game at this point... although next time I buy custom clubs I will probably go a little longer. With all of that said, the clubs are very high quality, every bit as good as the big name brand clubs on the market. The heads are nice and heavy (good for a beginner) and are also super forgiving. The shipping took a little bit longer than the website stated (they said that most orders take 48 hrs to ship but mine took almost a week) but that's not that big of a deal. Overall, these are amazing clubs for an amazing price. I will definitely be buying my next driver from GigaGolf (I currently have a Ping G30) as well as my next hybrids/woods.

I have played 4 rounds now with these new irons and I'm very pleased with the results. I have not gained any distance but they do fly higher and land softer on the greens. They are more offset than I'm used too but after a grip adjustment these irons are dead straight yet I'm can still able to work the ball a little.

Just picked these up today. Shipped and received in 2 days. Can't ask for any better. Unfortunately worked all day so won't get to try them out until the morning so will update this post. They look great and feel nice. Couldn't be happier with them and haven't even hit a ball yet. Can't wait to get out there in the morning and swing them. Would and have recommended GigaGolf to everyone I know, especially if they play as well as they look.

This irons perform well and are a great value for a beginner or someone on a budget. They have a solid feel and are forgiving. The only thing I don't about these irons is the yang-yang on the heel of the club.

I bought the 6-SW last fall for my wife who is just learning. I was so impressed with the look, feel and quality of the clubs that I also purchased a P3 5W for her and the GXZ 3H, 4H & 5H for myself. I've finally decided to replace my own mid 90's Callaway Big Bertha irons & wedges and decided to buy 6-SW GX944's for myself as well. I can't wait until they get here so I can try them out! I've hit her clubs a little on the range but they are L flex and fit for her. I still liked the feel and sound of them and I hit them straight but I had to adjust my stance a bit. A co-worker is getting ready to fork out $700 for a set of Callaway Edge irons/hybrids. I will have paid a fraction of that for a very similar setup. I've told him and others about your clubs and service.

In late December 2013 I ordered a number of GX944 clubs with regular graphite shafts. I was hitting the 4 and 5 hybrids and the 3 and 5 woods very well. The irons were giving me problems. I wasn't satisfied with the distance or the feel. They felt too stiff and like they were too much club for me. After struggling with them for three weeks I called Bill and discussed my problem with him. He suggested I return the irons and he would have the shafts replaced with A flex graphite. I returned them and 7 days later I received them back. I am extremely pleased with them now. A huge improvement! My thanks go out to Bill and GigaGolf for the great service and a super return policy. I am most pleased to recommend this company to anyone looking for new clubs. I don't believe you will be disappointed! R. Hager

As noted by others I too appear to have gained a club in distance and it's not due to stronger lofts or a longer shaft. My other GIGA set is stronger and the lengths are identical. Tried one of these by chance and I was sold. The sound and feel of a pure strike got my attention. As for the differences I noticed there was the height of my shots and holding greens. Gathering that is due to the technology in the design. You can really feel the weight in the club head low and back holding it in your palm. Yes, the topline is bulky looking at address but with the results I've seen in a couple of rounds it's something I can easily live with. Not to mention the confidence it instills looking down on it. Feels and looks like I can't miss. Btw, my set is HDX graphite with Winn midsize wraps (my preference not e-fit). Another winner GIGA. Keep 'em coming.

These clubs look and play great. I'm a 4-5 times a year golfer who wishes I had time for more and had been using some off the shelf irons for the last 13 years. They are nice clubs (Tommy Armour 845 titanium face) and have endured well, but I was getting to the point where I felt I wasn't hitting them well and wanted to see if the newer generation clubs helped my game. My first time out with these turned out to be the best round I've had in 5 or 6 years. I shot an 82 where I'm normally in the low to mid 90's. Back when I was playing more regularly (2-3 times a month), I would flirt with the low 80's, but never broke into the 70's. If it weren't for 3 missed puts under 4 feet, I would have been there. The irons were very forgiving and felt great to swing. I got the 5-pw with stiff metal shafts. They are probably 1 club longer, but I need more time to dial that in. The biggest difference was that mishits (mostly thin for me) didn't loose as much distance and generally stayed on line. Also, the recommended lie adjustment has helped. I was used to significant hooks with my long irons, and these flew pretty strait (maybe a slight draw). Overall, the quality of the clubs and the benefit of a custom fit has made a significant impact for the better on my game.

After getting hooked on golf by a couple of relatives and struggling for weeks with a 25 year old set of MacGregor Nicklaus Heritage clubs, I bought a 5-iron from the GX944 line and the recommended shaft in R flex on recommendation from Bill Baxter to get me through the summer while I learn the game and the mechanics of a good swing (and build my set of clubs). I received the club a couple days ago and have spent significant time at the driving range with it and all I can say is that this club performs admirably well - and beyond my expectations given my skill level. The nasty slice that I've been fighting all summer (probably due in part to a still-developing swing) - gone. Time after time, I hit the ball straight and accurate. While a PERFECT swing and PERFECT contact got me 150 yards MAX with the old 5 iron I had, I was routinely hitting the ball 165-180 yards in the air with this club (provided the driving range markers are accurate with their distances)...with a good degree of accuracy - routinely within ten yards to the left or right of my aim point. The bad: There was no packing slip in the box with the club, and thus no way to verify that they got the length and lie adjustments right. I measured it out on length based on their specs, and the club seemed to be the right length. Performance of the club indicates that it was built correctly...but without a packing slip verifying the order, this is just a guess. Personally - and this is not Gigagolf's fault - I'm not crazy about the WAY the club looks - it's way too thick for my liking on the top at address - but the thing performs incredibly well. The standard Sensatec grip is just as uncomfortable for me - maybe moreso - as the stock grips on the old clubs I was given. I'll be going with a different grip on my next order. Overall, if the club I received is typical of Gigagolf's quality, they just got a long-term customer. I will definitely be ordering my first sets of clubs from them this winter.

I just got my GX944 Irons in today and went straight to the range. All I can say is WOW because it was amazing how they performed instantly! I can not say that I'm great or maybe not even good at golf yet, but I could tell instantly the feel and the difference in how much further and straighter the ball went swing after swing. I started with some "hand me downs" from a friend a few years ago, so this was the first set of clubs I have bought so I got them customer sized. I am sure its both the clubs and the custom fit that will take my game to another level. I am very impressed with the GX944 Irons and I will recommend them to anybody and likewise for Giga Golf! The quality, performance, customer service, and price have all been great!

I ordered the GX944 Irons and they perform fantastic. The only problem I had was that the insert back in the sand wedge was missing. I called customer service and talked to Bill, he assured me that the back insert (medallion) was purely cosmetic and that he would send me one in the mail. It's been about 2 and half weeks and still have not received anything in the mail. Other than that the clubs perform great!

I have to scream out HUGE thanks to Bill for all his help with setting up my custom clubs! I'm 6'4" and a lefty and Bill was very patient in getting everything fitted the way it's supposed to be. I play a lot of golf in Florida after the snowbirds go home and I've been so frustrated with the inconsistency I've had ever since I started playing years ago. I could never consistently get and stay under the 100 mark and it was killing me. I did a lot of research when I found out about GigaGolf and finally convinced the wife she'd be living with a much happier man if the game wasn't so frustrating. How can you go wrong with the 30 day play guarantee? I went with the GX944 irons, the TRX Pearl Metal Fairway Woods, and the TRX Ti Pearl Driver. I have to say that after a couple of trips to the driving range and two rounds in the last week, I couldn't be any more pleased! I have added 15 yards...straight....to my irons and I've never hit a driver so far, so straight, and so easily. We went with the standard shaft on the driver but stiff on the fairway woods and I'm crushing those with an easier swing than I've ever done. I shaved 6 strokes off the front and 8 off the back in my last round!!! I have never felt this kind of confidence going up to the tee box and I only see it getting better the more I play! Thanks again, GigaGolf for hooking me up with a set of clubs that I feel rivals the best name brands out there. I love seeing my buddies faces when they pull out the Callaway wood they paid as much for as my entire set, and shank it into the trees while I just gently crush my Driver out in the fairway!! Thanks Bill for your patience and help!!

There are plenty of very detailed reviews of these irons so I will keep it short and sweet. I have around a 14 handicap but play mostly a scramble style of play, not by choice of course. After playing a few rounds with these irons I was highly impressed with the forgiveness of my off center shots. I hit 4 greens that if I had played the same shot with my old irons would have tailed off into the woods. Along with superb forgiveness I also gained nearly another club of distance. If you are looking to correct your miss hits and add some distance these are definitely the irons for you. On a personal note the profile and weight of these irons make you feel like you cant miss.

The issueHoly Crap these 944's are good!!!! I have been struggling with my game for a couple of years now and was very close to stop playing. I purchased a set of clubs from a large Pro Shop in Santa Ana Ca. 3 times the price and after a 90 minitue fitting session. I thought I would at least see moderate improvement. Not even close. I went to Vegas for work and a guy had a set of GX920 Irons. I tried them and was very impressed, very impressed. I purchased a used set and within 3 rounds, ordered the new GX944's. There was a small issue with my 7 Iron and Bill and Jay immediately asked me to return the club, here it comes at No Charge!!!, I do field service work so I did not end up sending it back and resolved the issue myself. The issue was a simple fix and has not occurred since. All that said, here is the meat of the review. Bill and myself went back and forth on shaft selections for 3 days. We agreed on the Feather Flight Shaft in X flex. I can only say Thanks Bill. These clubs FAR EXCEED any possible expectations that I may of had. They are as long as clubs many hundreds of dollars more, I went 5-Gap Wedge and with the TRX 4 hybrid. I also ordered the TRX Driver 3, 5 & 7 woods and will order the 3 hybrid when I finish this review. My game is better than it has ever been, EVER. I walk to the Tee Box with more comidence then you can imajine. Irons are straight and even I can shape shots now. That in of its self is worth the $500 I spent on this complete set of clubs. A value??? The last set of clubs I purchased the Driver and 5 wood cost that much ALONE!!!!! These clubs and this company are a huge value. Don't overlook what could be a great set of clubs because they do not have Big Brand names. Buy 1 set or even 1 club and you like I will be Hooked J Squibb N. LAS VEGAS

I've been playing Wilson Fatshafts (graphites) for several years and was looking for something to replace them. I had looked at Gigagolf for several years but was a little leery of ordering clones. I've played Callaway clones in the past but bought them in person. Finally decided to try Gigagolf after reading about the return policy and reading of others having no hassles with their returns. Decided on the 944's and did all of the e-fit requirements. I was surprised that they recommended I go with the Feather Flight steel shaft in a regular flex (I've been playing graphite stiff flex for over 15 years). Also had to go with the Sensatec Crease X2 grips as the standard Sensatec VX grip didn't come in my size (I have long fingers and need a medium grip). Clubs arrived as advertise (one week) and looked very good. Finally got to the range and got to play a round with them yesterday. I was very happy with hitting all of the irons on the range. I was worried the irons would be much heavier than my Fatshafts and didn't really feel a difference. From the first hit the 944's felt great. I hit them all (5 - PW) straighter than I have hit my irons in years. Probably got an extra 5-7 yards too. They didn't disappoint me on the course either. The 944's perform great and are a great value.

I received my GX944 Irons promptly but had to hold them at the fedex office for a week as I was out of state when they were due to arrive. When I returned, I took them to the range and they immediately impressed me with their looks and feel. I also picked up about an extra club length. I played one round with them so far and am convinced I made the right choice in buying these clubs. They have already instilled some of my lost confidence. I will be back soon for another set for my son-in-law this time.

I ordered my set about 10 days ago, 5-pw and sw. Previously I was using a set of Dunlop clubs that I had picked up used for $10 at a thrift shop. They were great learning clubs, but never actually felt right. After taking the new Gigagolf irons to the range I felt very confident with my abilities. Using the e-fit I got midsize grips due to my obnoxious large hands, -1 lie and stiff flex was recommended. Not only did I feel more comfortable with the clubs, but I hit them straight every time even off center hits went semi straight, only marginally off target. As for distance I did not notice a huge difference, for only playing a short time (about a year) I do hit the ball well as far as distance goes, about 175 carry distance for my 5 iron, it was the consistency of hitting the ball straight that was my problem. The day I got my clubs the new powerslot irons became available go figure which would have been a possible distance upgrade, but overall very happy with the clubs, my game will surely improve with the huge increase in accuracy. The quality for price cannot be beaten, amazing company you've got here.

I received my clubs about 4 days ago and they look even better in person. I purchased these clubs to replace an old set of Lynx clubs I had been using for the last 2 years. These clubs instantly added about 20 yards to my game and gave me considerable forgiveness. I went with the 4-pw and sw. The e-fit tool suggested a +1 lie which seems to be exactly what I need. I also went with the standard Sensatec VX grips (great feel) and Featherlight shafts. Overall, the value and performance of these clubs seems impossible to beat. I highly recommend Gigagolf and the GX944's.

I ordered the P3s first great quality but not the club for me just couldn't hit them consistent so I returned them and got the GX944s. The first time I hit them wow !!!. They must be the right clubs for my swing they are sweet every time I play they feel better and better. Having to get use to the yardage on the clubs. The lie angle +1 has helped my going to the right now going straight .I plan on playing these clubs for a long time. I have got comments on how good the cubs look and they can't believe the price I played for them . I not going to tell you they have changed my game but I think in time they help me be more consistent. I think GX944s are going to be a top seller for GIGAGOLF they are easy to hit and quality is great. I will be a Gigagolf customer from now on no more high price brand names for me. The GX944s take forgiveness to a new level. I was looking for a softer shaft for a 5 year old set of Taylor Mades. I am getting a little older and wanted to ditch my stiff Dynamic Golds in favor of something a little more playable. I stumbled on to GigaGolf and noticed that I could get a new set for less than it was going to cost to get my old clubs reshafted. The 944s seemed to be the latest design and I liked the look. So I figured what the heck, if I did not like them I could send them back and I would still have my old clubs intact. Well, these are not going back. Instead of going all the way to R flex, I noticed that GigaGolf offers an in-between step they call "firm" in the True Temper Feather Lite shaft. My distance has increased, the ball flight is awesome and they are almost impossible to miss hit.
