I bought 56-degree and 60-degree versions of the SGS Black wedges with Recoil shafts a couple of months ago. The 56-degree has become my go-to club from 15-80 yards. I'd never used a mid-50-degree wedge (except for a sand club), so it took a little while to calibrate distances, but now I love it. On full shots I get a high flight and no roll, and on 15-yard pitches I get a nice little "check" that I never got from my old pitching wedge. The 60-degree lob wedge, however, has been a nightmare. I have no confidence with it at all. I either blade it or chunk it, and from bunkers, the thin sole digs rather than glides through the sand. I'm sure someone with greater skill than I would find this club useful but I had to leave it in my closet. I bought fat-soled 60-degree lob wedge from another company and now I'm coming out of bunkers like a pro.

I recently added the SGS wedges in 52 and 60 to add to the 56 I have been playing for a year. The extra grinds and bounce design work extremely well. I have to play graphite shafts to ease some tendon issues and the UST Pro Force upgrades also perform well. I have 2 other wedges with the HDX80 default graphite shafts which shoot good, but I wanted to try the upgrades and they are just a ginch sharper in distance control. I have had the opportunity to put these SGS wedges shot-to-shot against the big name wedges. They shoot better than some and just as good as others. No reason to spend giant dollars to carry specialty wedges; these things rock! SeeYa Bob

Got the 56 to test out giga to see if they were all they everyone said they were. I have since purchased an entire set from them. Extremely impressed with the quality. This wedge is probably my favorite club of all. It plays extremely smooth and gives amazing control. For those who enjoy golf but don't enjoy spending thousands giga is your answer. No regrets.

I too am one of those people that never leaves reviews, however for these clubs I will make an exception. I was looking to get some new wedges and a buddy of mine told me about his Vokey wedge and after looking and pricing I just couldn't justify spending almost $200 for a wedge. I came across Giga through a forum as many others have and saw that I could get an entire set of wedges customized to my specs for less than 1 Vokey! I took the plunge and ordered these in 52,56 and 60... Like a 5 yr old on Christmas, I tore the box open and looked at new perfect wedges and headed straight to the range. These clubs are INSANE!!! The look, the feel, the sound and the accuracy are all just as good as Vokey, Cleveland, etc.. if not better for basically pennies for what you would spend on a set of the big names. I love these so much I just placed an order for Pursuit TC 420 driver as well. I have no affiliation to this company, I am just a very satisfied customer that will be placing many more orders soon. Thanks for great products @ a great price!

Purchased a 52 to test the water with Giga. I Read a all the great reviews and even have a family member that games the TRX v.11 irons but wasn't ready to jump in myself. Spoke with and e-mailed customer service before ordering and they were very polite and answered all my questions. The wedge is fantastic, Customized length/Lie for me with the featherlight shaft and a midsize grip. I hit the ball high and it stops on a dime when it gets there. It actually has a similar flight to my 60 degree wedge (but better distance)i was gaming but I could never hit it consistently so i took it out of my bag. The only minor issue i had with my club was a small blemish in the black finish just below the hozel but its hardly noticeable. I plan on getting the matching 56 as well. I'll be replacing my irons next and i'm leaning strongly toward the Z4's. Not sure about GigaGolf? Spend 25 bucks on a wedge and you wont regret it. 30 day play guarantee is unreal. Pay for your clubs not for advertising. DO IT! Thanks again

I Have been playing the black SGS wedges in 52, 56, 60, for 3 seasons. After thousands of shots I am seeing the usual thumb print wear in the middle of the soft iron faces. Even with the reduced spin the clubs are still very playable, checking and holding enough, but it is time for new wedges. How much have I liked these clubs? I will play the worn ones until Giga gets The clubs in, this fall. I tried the $$$name wedges at the local pro Shop and they simply are no better for me. I would urge Giga Golf to expand the offered lofts. A 48 would be great. Thanks Giga, bob

got my 52 and 56 today, immediately went to short game area at my local muny here in town. I spend a lot of time there, working on various shots, trajectories, etc. These clubs perform well. I like the smaller profile of the heads, no offset, and the darker color. Particularly like the bounce (12*) on the 56, works well on the bermuda. I will be ordering the m510's soon, and the 62* as well. Previous reviews weren't hype. these clubs are the real deal, can't beat the combination of price and quality. I do club repair and club fittings at a local sporting goods store and see a lot of clubs, old, new, better player, game improvement, etc. These are as good as any and the price was great. Customer service is spot on, delivery was quick -- you have gained a customer for the future. How about an 8802 style putter in the future? Or maybe something similar to the Odyssey #9? Great job, giga guys.

Thank you for my recent wedge purchase. I am amazed at the quality and configuration of your products. Your products are made to the highest quality and they produce great results for me on the course. This purchase was sort of a trial run to test your equipment against the OEM's. As a former + handicap I can say that these clubs will stay in my bag for years to come. My future purchases will be through you since the quality is high, the playability is great and the price is outstanding.

I received my clubs a while back with a driver also, overall they are good wedges although one minor detail was off.I ordered black wedges but the 60 degree was a dark grey and the 56 degree was black. That wasn't a big deal for me but if you were trying to match your clubs it might be a little bit annoying. But besides that good clubs!

I love this club with the precision rifle shaft. It performs better than my ping eye clubs I had used for years. My brother who is a scratch golfer used it because had brought out the wrong club. After it landed four feet from the hole. He said great balance what kind of club is this? I told him that my whole set (except my driver) was all from Giga Golf. He said if you miss with this you can't blame the club.

I bought the SGS 52*gap wedge with 6* bounce and the 60* lob wedge with 6* bounce and received them very quickly and in pristine condition. I had a 1 day charity tournament the very next day so the timing was perfect, however, I didn't have time to practice with them before playing. As it turned out, the weight and feel of these wedges really instilled confidence in my approach shots. As a matter of fact, my very first strike with my gap wedge from 93 yards out resulted in me spinning the ball back about 6 feet!! I'm a 6 handicap but have NEVER done that with my CG14's, or any wedge for that matter! The grooves are fantastic and promote very good, controllable spin and the head is nicely weighted for good strikes. To be fair, the bounce angles on these are better suited to my sweeper-type swing than my old wedges but it's the feeling that they gave me that I WAS going to hit the ball pure which impressed me the most. I now have no fear of thin shots and wasted opportunities to score. Based on performance, I honestly haven't loved any wedges more. I hit 13 of my 16 approach shots using both of my new wedges that day (3 holes were par 3's) which is an improvement over my usual 7-8! People commented on how nice the black finish looked and I plugged GigaGolf to all who commented. Great product, great service and for me, a new confidence in my short game. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Thanks to Bill and his staff for continuing to make quality clubs at affordable prices for all us non-pros :)

Great wedges. I have them in 52, 56 and 62. They perform very well and are starting to look rusty, which is a good thing. excellent feel. The sole on the 62 could do with grinding and a flatter edge would help. Very impressed for the money I spent. Thanks GigaGolf.

I recently received my new wedges, and I have gotten to play with them once so far. And all I can say is WOW, never owned my own 60 degree wedge but always played my uncles callaway 60 degree. I can say personally I can hit these new wedges crisp, and they are deadly accurate. Giga Golf a tip of the hat goes to your great club making abilities....returning customer for sure.

These wedges are better than the price would make you believe. Good shafts are standard. Good looking and play in the back yard is great. I have not had a very strong short game but I feel that the fit of these wedges should help at half the price of unfitted lesser quality clubs.

Considering that most brand name wedges are $100 or more, $25-$35 for a wedge is a bargain. The biggest surprise...these wedges don't play any differently than their overpriced counterparts in my opinion. Great shaft options too. Am I missing something? I got two fantastic wedges for less than 2/3 the price of a Titleist Vokey that I was sooo in love with before I ordered these clubs. And no...I don't work for gigagolf. I just read about them on a golf forum website and decided to give them a shot. I'm glad I did. It's always nice to get something that's worth what you paid for it.

Purchased 52 and 56 degree sgs wedges a couple of years ago and I was never able to hit them well. The face of the 52 felt dead and I could only hit it about 80 yards. I'm a single digit handicapper and don't have issues hitting other wedges/clubs so I'm thinking I might have got a bum batch. For some reason I shank the 56 on about half of my attempts and almost every time I play it out of the bunker. I grab another wedge and this problem disappears. Strange because I've had great success with other Gigagolf products (TR II irons, a hybrid, a m510 wedge, etc.)

I've got a 56 and 60 in my bag. I use them all the time and these clubs have lead to a lot of one putts. around the greens, I have no problem getting some spin on the ball and having it check up pretty well. if you know how to hit your shots (flop, pitch..etc) then these wedges will perform like any high end wedge. I don't use these for more than a 2/3 swing though. a full swing (especially off the tee) usually results in the ball going too high and not getting enough distance to make it where I think its going. a light pitching wedge usually does the job on those 100 yard shots so I don't worry about it. these clubs are strictly for carrying bunkers or reducing roll on the green and they do the job like any name brand club at a "way less than it should be" price.

The club (60 degree) has saved me more strokes than I care to count. I upgraded to a soft grip and a rifle shaft and after a week of practice I can chip and pitch very well with this club. I have never known what a "feel" club was but I do now. With a little practice and the confidence in this club you will be getting up and down a lot. I will also use this club out of the bunkers if the sand is hard and it performs well there too.

The SGS Black wedge 56 degree is really nice. The black finish was done very well. The performance and feel of the club is excellent. I don't know why anyone would want to spend more money on a "name brand" wedge, when you can get one for a fraction of the price. GIGA is a name brand in its own RIGHT. 2 THUMBS UP!

I tried a co-worker's Callaway X22's and loved the weight and feel of them so I set out to find a used set online. I somehow stumbled across GigaGolf and the GX922's and saw that a whole set of them - even fully customized w/ wider grips and longer shafts for me - was far less expensive then even the worst condition used set of X22's. I was extremely skeptical before I made my order so I did hours of research on GigaGolf and other "clone" manufacturers to try to determine if they were legit. The information that is out there is sparse, and most of it seems like it comes from a sales website linking potential buyers to sellers. This made me more skeptical, but from what I was able to glean, GigaGolf definitely seemed like the safest route. I still wasn't convinced so I wound up calling Bill Baxter because I thought that talking to a real human would ease my nerves. He said I could try the clubs out and if I didn't like them I could return them. I had been playing with Ping Black Eye 2's, but they were too short for me and I especially had trouble hitting the long irons. I thought about getting them reshafted and gripped, but that was just as much money as buying all new GigaGolf clubs, so I figured the worst that could happen would be I hated the clubs and I would return them. So, here is what I ended up ordering: P2 Fairway 3-wood, P2 Hybrid 3 & 4 hybrids, PowerMax GX922 5-PW, SGS Black 52, 56 & 60 degree wedges. The fairway wood is great and it gives me a nice balance off the tee for those mid-range holes that don't quite require the driver, but are too long for a 3-iron (or hybrid). They hybrids have done wonders for my long iron game (which was inexistent before). I LOVE the GX922 irons. The weight of them is absolutely wonderful - I had my co-worker try them out and he couldn't tell the difference between them and his clubs. The SGS Black wedges have definitely given me more confidence around the greens. I can now take nearly full swings with the 60 degree instead of trying to make short/stubby/choppy stabs at the ball with my pitching wedge to get the same kind of distance/control. I got all of these clubs, with headcovers on the fairway and hybrids, all custom length (the calculator really does work well) and wonderful Lamkin Crossline Jumbo grips for under $400. I could not be happier with my order. GigaGolf, if anyone would like to contact me about my experience, please feel free to give them my email address. You far exceeded my wildest expectations. Thank you.

With a great experience with your drivers (GX Squared), I decided to give a wedge a try. I currently utilize an off-the-shelf wedge that I've been very happy with, but wanted to see how well the fitting "fits". My SGS 56* wedge is ABSOLUELY BEAUTIFUL, and has such a GREAT FEEL. I'm now able to hit with far more control than I've ever previously been able to. Your tagline of "Can you say one putt?"... describes my feelings about this club. I Love my 58 degree wedge. I mostly use it for short chips like a lob wedge and on those rare occasions when I'm in the sand and it performs beautifully. I've had it for about two months and golf about twice a week and it's held up very nicely. You can't beat the value, it performs just as well as my friend's Cleveland wedge that costs at least a hundred bucks. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
